Art tuition in the heart of the French Countryside
Rana j Rodger is now sharing and passing on her artistic knowledge to adults and children wishing to connect with their own creativity.
Specially designed for beginners or those who are lacking in confidence.
Rana's studio is a safe and joyful place where you are encouraged to let go of all preconceived ideas and to experiment with different media, texture and techniques to find your own personal "artist within".
Rediscover your creativity
We will be playing with colour, design, and texture and you will have an opportunity to experiment with different media from watercolour, acrylic, oil pastel, inks, oil paint and natural pigments..
Rana will be sharing her experience of working with these different media and other exciting techniques such as using gesso, sand and pigments to create exciting visuals
Tribal Art
The work of artist Rana J Rodger is influenced strongly by her connections with Africa , Australia, Native America and the art and culture of all these regions.
We will be looking at the designs, colour, texture and symbols of these regions.......connecting with the sounds and rhythms and having fun in the studio experimenting with different texture and media such as ink, oil pastel, oil paints, sand painting and working with natural pigments.
Architectural Portraiture
Please bring your own sketchbook for these classes. We will be touring and sketching the local villages in the vicinity following the spectacular Aveyron river and gorge from Cazals, Medieval St Antonin Noble Val, Penne and Bruniquel. Returning to the studio Rana will be sharing 30 years of experience of working in this field. See :www.jennirodger.co.uk
Embracing your Inner Child
This is an opportunity to re-connect with and nurture our inner child.
Igue Que Ratzo is a safe and supporting place where there are no judgements..... where simplicity..... innocence.....and unconditional love abide.
We will be connecting with our inner child through art, creative writing, music and dance.
There will be time to play...in the woods... in the trees... swim in the pool...connect with the silence and the flowers.....lie in the long grass and gaze up through the leaves.....or dance to the light of the moon.
This is an opportunity to let go and simply be ............ to nurture your inner child and to be nurtured.
Painting with nature Spirits and Angels
In this course we will be spending time in the garden and forest of Igue Que Ratzo.
Gaining our inspiration from nature and stillness we will be leaving our busy minds behind and re connecting with our true creativity.
Inspirational artist Rana J Rodger (www.ranapix.co.uk) will facilitate this week sharing her experiences and connections with nature spirits and angelic beings.
Each day starts with a meditation under the guardian tree.
The studio will be open all day and night with an assortment of various paints, media and plenty of paper.
Please bring an open heart and mind and no expectations.
There is an artist inside everybody just waiting to express itself.
Prices for art tuition
20 euros per hour for private tuition with Rana (reductions for those with reduced means)
